Community Trade

Amazon Lights is a proud supporter of Community Trade in the Brazilian Amazon. Andiroba oil, used in our premium outdoor products, is provided to our manufacturing facilities through the indigenous tribes of the Amazon Co-op.

The Amazon rainforest is rich in medicinal plants and natural oils that have applications for many industries. The Co-op believes the best way to protect the Amazon is to help develop the commercial use of sustainable products from the rainforest.

By providing the tribes a means of trade, the Co-op is able to promote programs in sanitation, dental care and education. It also provides legal representation, giving the tribes a voice and enhancing their ability to protect their land.

Amazon Lights is able to make an impact on Community Trade as consumers and retailers purchase our premium outdoor products. Small that it may be now, every contribution helps make a difference. We look forward to having a much greater impact as word spreads about Amazon Lights. By sharing your positive Amazon Lights experience with others, we will collectively make a greater difference.
